The Membership Teammate is responsible for member satisfaction and retention through impeccable member service and practices that promote member engagement. The Membership Teammate will possess extensive knowledge in membership and program offerings as well as specific center information. The Membership Teammate will respond to members and guests in person and on the phone by providing accurate information and by collecting and processing cash transactions and member records. In addition, this position assists in regulating traffic in the facility as well as upholding and effectively communicating facility policies and procedures.

Accurately process new memberships and program registrations including cash transactions and maintenance of member records. Respond to inquiries both in person and by phone.
Develop, meet and exceed monthly and annual membership sales and retention goals.
Manage prospects through leads, tours, walk-ins, phone inquiries, referrals, corporate wellness partners, guest passes, terminations and prospects for campaigns.
Assist in the development of and adhere to systems that ensure consistent prospect and new member tracking and follow-up procedures.
Assist in the planning and execution of special events and services such as open houses, media events, membership drives and the annual Community Support Campaign.
A high school diploma or equivalent with customer service experience preferred. The ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a wide variety of situations is required. Confidentiality and excellent organization skills are strongly emphasized
1-2 years customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)
Experience working with diverse populations
Problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong ability to multi-task
Must demonstrate high level of computer literacy
